Why work at Chicken Treat?
We’re always searching for people who love adventure, want to learn and grow but don’t necessarily fit the profile of a sidekick.
Well now you can be a Chicken Hero too.
Get in touch. You won’t regret it!
Team Member
You’ll start stacking up some great new skills by learning how to cook the delicious chicken people come from all over the country for. Whether you’re casual, part-time or full-time, you’ll make loads of great new mates and pick up skills that’ll set you up for life.
Chicken Ninja
This is the first chance to really build on your career, and while you won’t be throwing Ninja Stars, you will be leading a team of Chicken Treat legends. You’ll help train new members of the Chicken Treat team and ensure our high standards are maintained by those around you. We’ll teach you how to coach and train as well as potentially take control of a busy area of the restaurant on a shift – all under the guidance of a supportive Manager who’ll support you, and help you keep things fun and fresh every step of the way.
Shift Supervisor
In this first step into management, we’ll show you everything you need to know to run shifts by yourself. We’ll show you how to keep your team motivated and excited to be delivering the service we’re known for, and that our delicious chicken is served to the mouth-watering standards our customers have come to expect.
Management
Not only will you now be running shifts to exceptional standards, you’ll start to learn all aspects of running a business. It’s a lot of responsibility, but nothing you won’t be able to handle and we’ll totally be there to support your along the way. You’ll grow from real time learning and Management programs so that you can lead by example and excel in everything that you do.
Hungry?
No problem. You’ll be entitled to a discounted meal on every shift. Chicken Heroes need their energy, so eat up mate!
Bag Some BFFs
We’re a crazy bunch, full of laughs and energy (and the occasional group hug). That’s why people love working here.
Keeping Things Fresh
Don’t worry, we won’t stick you on the same shift every day. You’ll get a chance to try a range of different roles on different days to keep things exciting.
Connections
We’re WA and proud. As a part of the team, you’ll have a chance to connect with the amazing people at our other stores.

Click ‘View Our Open Positions’ to look through a list of the available jobs at Chicken Treat. Once you’ve found your perfect fit…
2. Apply online
Click into the application, then all you need to do is tell us about yourself and what you could bring to the team. It’s also a good idea to tell us ALL of the times you’re available to work. Don’t worry, that doesn’t mean you’ll be rostered for all of them, it just gives us options.
3. Complete Betty's fit questions
As part of the online application process you’ll answer a number of multiple choice questions that’ll help us understand where you fit into the family – there are no wrong answers, so just take your time and answer honestly!
4. Be on the lookout
We’ll be in contact to let you know the status of your application and whether you are going to be invited for an interview.
5. Be Prepared
OK, so we think you’re awesome and we’ve invited you for an interview. What now? For some advice that’ll help you come to your interview full of confidence check out our interview tips below.
6. The Big Day
Come in, make yourself at home and get to know your new BFFs. Before your first day you’ll receive a link to go into Chook Book and complete some important online training. Then, on your first shift, we’ll ease you in with a Restaurant Walk and Talk so you can get familiar with our safety procedures, your training plan and get a real feel for the place.
If there’s anything else you need, remember, we’re here for you every step of the way. Just ask.
1. Get to know us
2. Lookin' good!
Dust off that iron, un-crease your clothes and turn up looking sharp. Just don’t wear your undies on the outside of your clothes!
3. Prep to impress
Before your interview, why not get some mates or family members to run through some questions with you? Trust us, it’ll help you feel a lot more confident on interview day.
4. Late ain't great
We’re really looking forward to meeting you, so don’t leave us hanging. Turn up 10-15 minutes before your interview to be safe. Plus, you’ll get a little extra time to prepare.
5. Be your awesome self
Relax, breathe and just show us the real you. No need to put on a front with us, we’re all a bit unique anyway.
